- thorngate halls some cool bands play their sometimes (the skuds)
- Closed down the bell vue, but new inn, thorngate hall and even waterfront have the occasional non-mainstream music night.
Look out for the asulym seekers(punk rock) and Masters of the universe (?)
- Thorngate is for good bands
- Thorngate Halls occaisionally has some gigs happening, the Railway Inn has soome good un-signed bands almost every week, TRACKS the local forton studio has some good facilities for band practice, the Trades Club also occaisionally has gigs (but can cost alot for hall hier?).
- The Railway Inn often has bands, Olivers bar in Stoke Road likewise. The Gosport festival is usually a good bet for a whole variety of mainstream and alternative music and the council usually put gigs on in Fort Brockhurst during the summer months.
- Thorngate Halls usually has some shit local bands playing. Or a tea dance but they don't let me in cos i will cause trouble.
- Oliver's. Gone but still holds a special place in many people's hearts.
