• People who live here are typical British narrow minded types. We want better facilities but arent prepared to support anything. The Pebble Beach restaurant was excellent but no-one went - it is now a wine bar with food that is still good but the restaurant was exceptional!Other places shut down because of lack of support, so come on Gosport, wake up and smell the coffee( only 49p before 6 in Burger King)
• Bridgemary Aquatics - A wide seletion of tropical fish and a good pond section accessories out the back. Who'd thought they've got about 16 ponds at the back of the shop. Worth a visit

• Gosport is an interesting place with early 20th century residential buildings dominating the landscape (which is flat). The ethos of the locals appears to be "Don't try too hard, we can always nick it" If you've ever been to somewhere like Middlesborough, you'll find Gosport to be very similar apart from the accents. If you are thinking of visiting Gosport, plan for a dawn-dusk curfew every day unless you are either suicidal or a horror movie screenwriter. The locals have an allergy to alcohol which turns them into a horde of mindless zombies for 12 hours, roaming the streets looking for anything warm enough to have sex with and punching anything that moves.
