• The "GANGSTERS" what a joke!! They recruit wannabe's and call them "soldiers" you are not a soldier..... you are a GOPHER and you will pay for their crime!!!
• Rowner, need I say anymore!!
• No access in or out. No decent shops , nor places to go in the evening Parking charges!
• Gosport is completely jam-packed with chavs and benefit-swindling scum festering in their own juices. I can honestly say that there is absolutely no redeeming features of the town. It is rumoured that Peter Jackson based Mordor on Rowner Estate. Rude, sour-faced people wherever you go, spouting vulgarities in their ridiculous "mockney" accents. There is nothing for the younger people to do, so they resort to rape, theft and underage drinking. It takes two hours to get out of Gosport in the morning, and likewise to return. New housing is built and no improvements are made to the infrastructure. Honestly, it's a shame because this place has such potential - could be a nice little seaside town. Instead, there are no shops, no attractions, antiquated 1960's-decor pubs and restaurants, and a local population who make George Romero's 'Night of the Living Dead' seem tame by comparison.
• Moving here in the first place,God what a shithole. People are all "Mockneys", FFS London is over and hour and a half away for christsake,and thats only if the A32 isn't blocked because theres fuckall work in Gosport, so stop the friggin "born under bow bells accent - it makes you sound like a cunt"

• no cinema, not much for the younger generation
• A shocking dump. Like a poor London borough dropped on the south coast.
• No working train station and no railway to the town anyway, overpriced bus fares, no local Accident and Emergency department.
• The heroin addicts, the lawlessness, the constant violence and vandalism. The ridiculous town planning department (the main road in and out of Gosport is jammed from 7am-10am and then at 3pm-6pm, the planners response is to build about a zillion more homes in the town). The stupidity of the transport department (Gosport used to have a first-rate bus service, but the council sold it off and it is now about 58th-rate. Do not venture far from your base over Christmas, there will be few taxis and no buses at all from about Dec 3rd-March 19th.)
• Superb cyclepath along old railway line - about to be replaced by a tram!
• Crap shops, no facilities, no cinema, dodgy in-bred locals.
• Council demolishing the old historic buildings in the town.
• Lack of tolerance by the community in general.
• Junkies everywhere
