My Great Great Grandfather was a James Mowatt 1804-1880 Married to a Margaret Duncan 1806 - 1891. My Great Grandfather was a Graham Buchanan Mowatt 1844- 1926 The family story went that Mowatt's Lane was called after the family but would live to know for sure. Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition.
