Musical Instrument Shops and DJ Gear
  • none but u can play my musical instrument
  • Elephant Music is fine.
  • What about Gary Noonan's drums? See: http://www.noonandrums.com/
  • comma lammo
  • Used to be a good one down Harmer Street. Dont know if its there now though.
  • Elephant Music Harmer Street
  • Elephant music is the best
  • Elephant music in Harmer street Gravesend ,good shop with abundance of advice. specialising in the lower cost end of musical instruments, remember lower cost does not always mean lower quality .
  • Dunno, one down the highstreet at the bottom and anuva near the clocktowa. i had 2 buy a g string 4 my friend coz she woz 2 embarassd......do
  • There are two in Gravesend Town Centre - Music Bay is perfect for shitty Yamaha Keyboards and some guitars, but don't expect anything other than a look which says "You're an arsehole" if you want after-sales service... the other is Elephant Music, run by a lovely old guy who really gives a shit and won't sell you a box just because there's a lot of commission riding on it!
  • Go to Elephant Music. GO TO ELEPHANT MUSIC!!! They specialise in guitars and amps (both new and second-hand) but can get hold of other things such as flutes, clarinets, keyboards to the rarer varieties such as kazoos and ukeleles. They can do minor repairs of guitars and amps in the shop while-u-wait but can also repair loads of other stuff. Bob, the guy who runs it, has loads of music experience (as well as running the shop for 10 years)and will happily bang out a riff on the guitar if you ask him nicely. James will also help you out (plus being a computer nerd, to boot) with anything regarding music. The shop orders stuff and will notify you when it arrives. In other words, this shop is brilliant. The staff at Elephant Music thank you for your comments and criticisms. 8 Harmer Street (near the clock tower).
  • eephant music, theyr great in there, real dudes and their rehearsal rooms smell like bodies of hot sweaty rock stars, real authentic experience
  • Music Unlimited
  • Seriously, a couple. Elephant music, Music Bay in the highstreet. Or just go out and record the late sounds of skulls cracking on pavements and bus shelters/phone boxes being 'popped'.
  • I once walked passed elephant music, and saw Tage kissing Bob's left man boob.
  • Elephant Music is the best. It has Tage from local band 3db's Down :D Also, the people in there really know what they're talking about.
  • music bay bunch of robbing bastards.
  • ELEPHANT MUSIC DOWN HARMER STREET
  • Elephant music and music bay rule, but Noonan's drums near the prom is awesome if you're a drummer like me.
  • music bay dude!
  • Elephant Music is so much better than crappy rip off music bay by far! Music bay just laughed at me when i asked if i could look at their effects pedals! stupid saturday kids who don't have a gcse between them! if you want good serious advice then go to elephant music, they are also much cheaper than music bay, who dont have everything at a set price! i got a cable from there, after they asked for £12, i said forget it i'll go to Elephant Music because they are cheaper, they said £5, but i still went to EM, then MB tried to charge my mate £17 for the exact same cable they tried to charge me £12!!!!!! Go to Elephant Music!!!!
  • Music Bay, elephant music. music bay is the best in town really.
  • Music Bay has the best selection by far, but Elephant has Tage from 3Dbs Down...
  • Elephant Music on Harmer St. because Music Bay sucks, pure and simple. EM is a proper aladdins cave of cool instruments and odds and ends :) Go to EM theyll always do their best to help....
  • tennison walk
  • There is one called Elephant Music in one of the high streets but here is a good one at Bluewater
  • Elephant music
  • there's music bay down the high street. small but nice people.
  • Music Bays ok, but they specialise mainly in guitar and piano.
  • Elephant music, what a great place NOT! If you want your new guitar to stink like an old ashtray then this is the place to go. Bob has the product knowledge of a small ape and the personal hygiene of one. I found them most unhelpfull and the guy obviously was NOT a musician. Elephant is about right big slow and useless!
  • one down harmer street i think
  • theres a guitar shop in harmer street and one at the bottom of the high street
  • music bay elephant music
  • music bay the best overall
  • It has to be Music Bay. I did my work experiance in there. They are nice people & they always have plenty of stock.
  • there iz 1 manky 1 at da bottom of town
  • Music Unlimited was great, now we have nothing (its long gone). People hear don’t want musical instruments they want weapons to batter people with for no reason. They only instruments people want around hear causes pain to others and the sound they want is the satisfying sick cries of their battered victims agony. No a nice sound.
  • Elephant music
  • there is elepahnt music and music bay which sell guitar intruments and sunshine which sells DJ equpment
  • Where the Pock is Hmmm...............not sure of the name
  • There is a shop in the high street but i cant rememeber the name but is definately there
  • The only one I have ever been past is Bitin Back Records
  • Music Bay- Good instruments, but they like to put a bit of a profit on the RRP! You can usually knock them for about 15% depending on the value of the item.
  • Music Bay shit shop ,shit staff ,shit instruments. If you want to buy a brand new marshall it's the place to go and waste money. If however you want to go to a real music shop where people know what you're talking about then go to ELEPHANT MUSIC.but please what ever you do don't put any coffee in Bob's tea, he is allergic violently! he'll have a Kiniption, so you didnt hear it here, hint hint!!!!!!
  • Elephant music! and Serendipidy sells Windchimes
  • Music unlimited, bought my first drum kit from there, pleased the neighbours no end
  • Music Bay and The Music Shop.
  • Er ...don't know any but I think there's one near the clocktower.
  • Elephant Music in Harmer Street and Music Bay in the High Street
  • elephant music is still at 8 harmer street (opposite end to the clock tower) and music bay is still down the bottom of the high street. there's also a drum shop opened 1999 at the back entrance to woolworths.
  • Elephant music, down the road from the clock tower, if it's till there....
  • Try music bay down the high street
  • None. There used to be one called 'Music Unlimited' but it has long since closed.
