The Worst Things in Grays, Essex*
The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it
You can tell us more about Grays.
The Worst Things
- Thurrock Council organisers...they ruined local life......they made grey Grays reality...
- Everything! Grays has no buildings of any interest (all the architecture was demolished during the councils hey-days of the 60's and 70's, the town is surrounded by a one-way system designed by the devil himself! It has NO restaurants (good or bad), NO decent pubs (those it has are either new soulless bad food serving on the outskirts, or dark smokey dens of iniquity where you just don't go. It has very few shops that are useful, NO clothing shops unless you count Ethel something or other or Peacocks!! It has a few "greasy spoons" but not one nice cafe where you can get a proper coffee and a cake (one that wasn't defrosted that morning or worse yesterday morning!). No cinema. in truth you can find shops and cinemas (still no good restaurants though) at Lakeside shopping centre. and that is the reason Grays is a "dead town" ..... Lakeside
- How long do you have?
- The Oaks
- The Albanian invasion, The Pullman's Tavern (might as well stab yourself), Let's put a h-bomb in thameside that should flatten the lot.
- GRAYS itself
- The appalling vandalism in the town centre carried out over the last few decades by the council.
Unacceptable evels of violence, burglary and general crime.
The fact that the area is regarded and used as a dumping ground for the waste that nowhere else in the county wants.
Thurrock Council
- Chafford Hundred
Schools
- Grays police cells after a particularly heavy night out..(where am i?)
- The Begging and the Dodgy old Tramps who hang around the cash point
- The train service back is abysmul.
- Countless drunk and/or immature cretins that emerge from under stones after 9pm
and hang around outside McDonalds
