- A bunch of old miners sitting on their collective haunches outside the Warriors,picking horses from the Racing,and Football Outlook. The cackle was laughable, and you could tell they were miners by their flat caps,white mufflers knotted into the throat, and black eyes! Just couldn't get that coal dust out. They were entertainers then-what about now.
- Plenty charvers to laugh at. just ignore them when they ask for 10p to buy a tab off you.
