    I was going to take some photos of the war memorial plaques the last time I was in the village. However they had been removed due to vandalism :-(

Can anybody please help me find him. I am looking for Jason, a telecommunications worker from Birtley that I met in a pub in Essex during June 2006. He was working in the Essex area at the time cleaning lines/cables along with another geordie and a yorkshireman. He is in his thirties and has a son. His father passed away 10 years ago and he has relatives living in Leederville, Western Australia where I live.

I spent some months working at this nursery while doing Nursery Training. I have a few photos of some of the very young babies in our care at this time.     Great to hear from someone from all those years ago. Birtley Nusery was set back from the main road to Newcastle on the right hand side. There was a scruffy looking biggish house opposite (this was the nurses home for staff) There was a cinema next door to it.
