  • We all know Clapton, Phil Collins, Bruce Grobbelar, Tony Hart, and Richard Branson's parents have lived in the Guildford area (more towards Cranleigh but close enough!), but how about Harry Secombe who lived just passed Shamley Green I think, oh and I remember seeing Alvin Stardust at Cranleigh swimming pool when I was a kid (don't know if it's because he lived there though). Paul Weller's from Woking, but that's getting a bit too far away to be considered Guilford.

Eric Clapton lives/lived near Cranleigh way, the Yvone Arnauld often brings some famous people to Guildford too. Anthea Turner lives in Ewhurst. Weybride which is about 25mins away has a very expensive area where, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Diana Ross, Cliff Richard and more live.
