You can tell us more about Halesowen.
Cinemas
- you have the classic by the quinton border which is dire your better off going to great park rubery about 4 mile away.
- Quinton, Dudley or Merry Hill (Merry Hill is a rip-off)
- Go to Merry Hill cinema.
- Nearest cinema is Reel Cinema's in Quinton which although isnt the smartest joint on the planet its really cheap in comparison to Merry Hill/Brum and is easy to access via 9, 138 or 139.
- Films are sometimes shown in the Cornbow Theatre (above the library) - generally historical and/or of local interest.
- odean cinema near the kings high and quik save, up the road from quinton methodist church
- Go to UCI in Merry Hill, ABC in Quinton is a hole. There's a MegaBowl at Brierly Hill (up the road from Merry Hill) although it's kinda run down. Also there's a Laser Quest in Stourbridge, just did it up, very nice! (and good for a laugh)
- Quinton Odeon. Last time I went there I was asked for ID to enter into a 15 film. I'm 22. The usherettes are both blind AND bad-tempered.
- NO entertainment whatsoever apart from heroin injections & heavy drinking. Shame.
- Quinton cinema, by the M5.
- Again just go to Merry Hill.
- Quinton-3 quid on a tuesday
- Nearest place UCI cinema in merry hill shopping center!
- Best go to Merry Hill
- The only cinema is the ABC in Quinton, but that's losing out to Merry Hill nowadays. It's had more owners than I've had hot dinners - the Danilo, the Cannon, etc....
- The ABC in Quinton, as well as being a Hook-up spot for greasy teenage loudmouths, is an institution, and cannot afford to be overlooked (neither can its overheads / profit margin, hence the frequent change of management). Its pretty basic, but its local, and you get to see the same film as those showing at Merry Hill or Birmingham Great Park.
- Closest cinema is two miles away in Quinton on the road into Birmingham. Only 4 screens, but cheaper than the one at Merry Hill, and much comfier seats.
- Quinton ABC cinema. It's tiny, and is ancient.
There's some good back street snooker clubs, which are hard to find, and really seedy.
