Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
  • full of second hand shops the kind of shop halesowen people like.
  • Merry Hill. Go there.
  • There are not many to be honest, majority are charity shops, Peacocks and New Look can be found inside the Cornbow center i believe.
  • Always seem to be able to see something nice in Queenies (next to Hobbs the ironmongers shop) having trawled Merry Hill in vain. OK for the over 30's.
  • errrr nope...theres a shop called dancers thats been there forever
  • Are you having a laff? Clothes shops in Halesowen? The only clothes shops in Halesowen are the ones that sell cheap and nasty tat, as modelled by the residents of the scuffer flats. These people can also be seen sporting the latest argos jewellery. If you want any decent clothes, best go Merry Hill.
  • Stephen Allen by the bus station sells "menswear of distinction", apparently. I bought a jacket there once.
  • Amongst what seems like thousands of charity shops there are the odd "gem". For instance, there's the size 8-to-huge-tent womens clothing store in the precinct, or there is Select for that extra-special 99p pair of leggings. Thankfully the market has been closed down, which is now forcing most of the residents to upgrade their fashion sense, and shop at Barnado's next door. Of course, there's always the archaic Dancer's, which sells all manner of old persons attire for extremely exaggerated prices. This is also the place where every school child in Halesowen used to be kitted out with royal blue tank tops once a year.
  • Perfect for poor people. Trousers for £2. A T shirt for 50p! No shops for people with money
  • Try Stephen Allen Menswear on the Queensway, for formal stuff anyway.
  • There is a few decent shops such as select, dorothety perkins, dancers and a few others!
  • Question - Some of the following labelled clothes are available in Halesowen. Can you work out which ones? (Clue: There are five of them) - Gucci, Yves St Laurent, Oxfam, Cancer Research, Macmillan Nurses, Sense Midlands, RSPCA, Ted Baker.
  • Dancers is a high class ladies and gentlemans clothes shop where no customer is just 'tolerated' as the staff are always pleasent and helpful and i can't praise this shop enough.
  • Dancers is overpriced and not very friendly. Customers are sometimes tolerated.
  • There's a few clothes shops, but clothes in Halesowen are largely sold in the multitude of Charity shops that exist.
  • Judging by the attire of most of the locals, it is advisable to look for clothes elsewhere.
  • Nothing spectacular. There's the usual Dorothy Perkins and Select for Women. Not a lot for men, some Market-type shops that should have been closed down years ago.
