Art deco, contemporary, futuristic, tall, short...
You can tell us more about Halesowen.
Favourite Building
- none halesowen is a ugly town.
- Trinity Point
- The Church is probably the only decent building in halesowen.
- The Church, the Old Lloyd's Bank building nest to iceland before Shipleys took it over what an insult. The Planners really went to town in Halesowen, look what we ended up with - a ghost town
- St Johns Church - fantastic view from the top.
- ...billy picks...soooo much charachter.
- The church is absolutely beautiful, such a pity it is surrounded by the main road.
- The Cornbow Centre - temperamental sliding doors, scores of townies hanging over the balcony and a high-class eating area at the bottom of the escalators. What more could you ask for in a shopping centre? Marvellous.
- Hawne Colliery. Old & untouched by the scum of Halesowen.
- Halesowen Abbey
- Hawne Colliery (Ex mining place) is a beautiful old building still standing (a wonder with our local council)
- Somers's,the church,the abbey
- Market Cross in the churchyard.
- none they all suck halesowe is a shit hole with no entertainment thats why kids hang around the streets get ste ridgly andi parsons pete gillet and dave ridgy on the mixing decs one night of the week somtime- these also dj at the zion youth club with jalon and chris
- The half-timbered houses in Church Lane, the back of the shops near Halifax (follow service road by Will Thorne House) and the houses around Tenterfields Drive are surprisingly attractive (for Halesowen). There's a sandstone barn in Hasbury.
- The Ancient Church is very pretty to look at.
- In the 1970's, the powers that be ripped all the old buildings down and replaced them with nasty looking grey granite buildings. The only place that is half way decent is the Church.
