- What, here? why the hell would they be here!? Well you might find an interesting drunken tramp to laugh at.
- Dangerous to play in Halesowen. You'll get yer stuff nicked. Honest.
- Butcher's assistant in the High Street - he used to undercut Kwik Save by shouting out his amazing "five chickens for 50p" offers on a Saturday until someone wrote to the Halesowen News that the sales technique was "not suitable for an upmarket shopping centre like Halesowen but more akin to the Birmingham Bull Ring."
- None because now you need a permit. Fucking Idiot local council/Government.
- Halesowen has now got a Big Issue seller! Only upwardly-mobile towns have that distinction (Cradley Heath doesn't have one).
- It always amazes me how the guy outside the Cornbow, playing every possible instrument (at once), and obviously a musical legend, earns himself 24p. Whereas the guy 50 yards away, blind, deaf, and plucking at his one-stringed guitar (the same repetitive TWANG! over and over) gets £500 in his bucket?
- Oasis-tribute guitarist is spotted by Iceland from time to time.
- There's the usual Chas n Dave style duo, and the student playing the guitar.
Sitting outside Kwik Save or the Bus Stop tends to be the most entertaining, because there's always some old dears having major arguments.
