- near the beach
- Train to London
- Halesworth is a real town with real people, totally unlike Southwold and Aldeburgh which are nice places too but cater for tourists and rich second-homers. You can find most of what you need from a town in the Thoroughfare, unless you're a teenager.
- Hanging around outside the old Post Office.
- For a small market town everyone is fairly friendly. May have trouble with the accent tho.
