• The best things about Halifax is the fit chav chorer lads that you get , and the teenage nights at the colli (colliseum) and the acca , i have never been in coz i'm only yung , but the storys i hav herd from my big sister , sounds cheap !!! Lol ,

I have lived up here all my life and have not got a problem with the estate i work and have a nice home and the small community works well together

• The best thing about Halifax is that it is both a Town and a rural community. You can be in the countryside within 5 minutes from Halifax town centre. You can live on a farm, but still get an excellent night life. A rare mix of town and country, with the bennefits of both.
• Closeness to Leeds and Manchester
• Just a nice little town. Nothing special, nothing exciting just generally fine.
• The sexy women, who let it all hang out. Try Queensbury.
• The surrounding countryside has to make for some of the best views in Yorkshire. Try Crow Hill Sowerby views in excess of 40 miles on a clear day. Beacon Hill, just outside of the centre (you can't miss it) for the best view of Halifax.
• Good rugby league side (wrong code though).
• Lots of good pubs - if you leave the town centre.
