• There were many cinemas in and around fax once. The Astra (colliseum club now) ABC (jaks now) Electric (bowling alley now), Victoria (now Victoria theatre)were 4 on wards end alone. Now there aint any. New multiplex opening soon?? but the old ones had real character.
• Halifax doesnt have a cinema any more, its now a nightclub called Jumpin Jaks
• we dont have one they switched it to jumping jaks :{
• huddersfields is the best cinama to be in
• we had one but now its a really bad club....jumpin jaks, eugh!!
• Bradford Imax or Huddersfield multiplex for films. Elland and Hebden Bridge have nice little dinky cinemas. Halifax doesn't have one. How daft. It's now Jumping Jack's Nightclub. :-(

• all we have is the rex which is old n small so have to go to huddersfield
• Alas, there is no cinema here but the Playhouse puts on interesting films once a month on a sunday night. It's a lovely little venue which needs supporting. Very cheap.
• No cinema now. UCI is the closest.
• heylo...as you know, there are no cinemas in Halifax nemore...just to let you no...hudds is no longer the place to go...the new place is bradford, its rite by the train station and cheaper thn hudds so ther u go...now u no.....wow i rhyme!

• what! there isn't even a cinema here anymore. even wen it was here is was quite crap.
• None unless you want to travel out of the centre - head to Elland for some interval organ music or pop to Hebden Bridge (good for lesbian action, so I'm told!)

• abc is quite cool for a small place and it'll be a shame to see it go as there aren't any more local and hudds = £££££££££££
• The ABC is due to be turned into YET ANOTHER club, leaving Halifax with no Cinema. Hebden Bridge has the Picture House, but its the stereo-typical independent one - great for an evening out, but not for watching a new film that you want to see.
• a crappy smelly litttle hole called the abc. aparently theyre gonna knock it down to make another nightclub.

• abc cinema, well what can i say?? sticky floors, rancid smells. dont bother.go to huddersfield instead.

• ABC cinema in Halifax is circa 1900 and crap. Cheap in though.
