- the benches the marble ones just between the bank and ninja i think . im not sure , kfc just outside by the planters that looks a good spot ,also the library the stairs aside WH smiths and HBOS if ur lucky.
- near the shay. (football ground)
- Next door to the library in halifax.
- into 2005 only skatepark in halifax isnt in halifax its in hebden bridge an its absolute garbage, grafitti off the wall team keep coating it in black paint remover shite that makes the ramps sticky :'( north bridge is having repairs again and the used kerbs are impossible to get to atm, some new curvy marble benches at the top of town but theres no decent run up, libary still only decent spot.
- Ripponden!
- Commons Park. Pretty tight.
- Probs next to library ut everyone keeps getting told off by the police
- crow wood park, sowerby bridge. about 4 years back the council spent almost £100 putting in some of the worst thought out ramps known to man. 2 quarters which are around 5 foot wide and have the steepest transitions possible. a fly off and a couple of low rails. generally an excellent skate spot for those wishing to drink 20:20 on the ramps and write their names in marker pen. At the same time the council filled in a decent empty paddling pool in the park which was possibly the one ray of hope in the whole place. quite possibly the reason why halifax has such a high rate of teen pregnancy.
- Lovely tarmac playing field in the form of Matalans car park right at the bottom of town.
- where are all the skating shops? does nobody skate in halifax? there are no skating shops. yes, thats rite. they all died.
- theres a little shit one now in the piece hall
- amazing spot at the back of the bottem entrance 2 woolworths full of sick ledges, stairs and rails good for beginers and experianced skaters(watch out for security)
- Too many Moshers and they even got a MOsher shop in town and its about the size of a shoebox with one railing of what can only be described as blacktorn sacks. You'll know where it is when you'll see half a dozen MOshers skulking around in their parachute pants!!! Wicked!!!
- local benches local libraary
- The multi storey car parks at North Bridge and Bull Green, Sainsbury's and The Old Marks & Sparks are the best places - rails everywhere with plenty of opportunity to lose a limb!
- The Social! - An out of town spot near the top of Albert Promenade (the rocks), with some nice kerbs, wallz, and locals who bring ramps up sometimes... Nice!
- A shoddy outdoor skatepark which is now closed (some kid broke their arm). People still go there to do graffiti, to chill, etc.. Theres two quarters, a flatbank, two flyoffs and a low rail.
- Sainsburys car park is attached to North Bridge Leisure Centre car park. A few gaps and curbs, but massive amounts of smooth tarmac.
Marks and Spencers car park, large smooth car park with gaps and wall rides!
- ? Where is this? Skate sessions. Tuesday nights. Beginners 6.30-7.30. Others 7.30-9.30 £1 membership. 20p per night.
- The Central Library: there's loads of steps and nice hand rails, a gap and benchs. Good wall for wall riding, good ride on grinds on both sides and lots of gaps to do.
- The Halifax Building Society is a skateboarder's dream: loads of sick banks, big steps, rails, bench, water gaps. But beware of the security gaurds.
- Blockbuster Video is cool: small set of steps great board-slide and nice gap; smooth surface.
- The North Brige Leisure Centre: there's hundreds of curbs, manual pads, gaps, banks and wood for ramps. Very smooth; can only be used at night.
- The multi storey car park: good for when it's wet - loads of gaps, very waxed board slides and grinds, lots of curbs and blocks, and big sets of steps.
- Wipsey skate park not too far away (need to go by bus): loads of hips and banks, humps; nice and smooth.
