• Halifax is a ghost town from Monday until Thursday, it only picks up on a weekend.

• The crime, especially drink related stuff - be carfull around halifax in the early morning.
• * the amount of horrible people, you know the ones, hang around the bus station, total chavs, who contribute very well to the countys teenage pregnancy statistics. * and the acca...good god.
• The not nice people. There are quite a lot. The stupid council who are determined to cut down our cherry trees.
• Halifax Streets
• coming back after work
• Ovenden, Illingworth, Mixenden, Abbey Park, Gibbet Street, King Cross, Pellon
• Crap shops
• The worst thing is the zoo bar , you get people younger than me in there on a normal not teenage night !!!
• Near to bradford and Queensbury. Mixxy n illingworth. No cinema!
• Zoo bar, accapulco, tramshed, HX1!
• The council
• There's piss all in the Piece Hall
• I live there
• The crazy number of fit young birds on a thurs night who never put out

• Soooo many Twockers, Charvers, Townies and Trendys!!! And so few of us punks/ska heads/skaters!!!

• The lack of a cool park where you can just hang out, we need a park in the centre somewhere like greenhead in huddersfield, clean and cool

• It's not the worst but is far from the best! Probably the worst is the fear that if accidently knock somebody in a bar whilst trying to make your way back to the group with a handful of beer, you'll end up with no face!
• all of it apart from the nestle factory oh and maybe the vanity box for cheap cigs

• Twockers & people thinking they're hard!

• this place is a breeding growned for racism far too many people are nown to part take in the usage of bad substances and this place has too many people who worry about sexuallity
• The zoo bar is a flea infested manky black hole and we love it!!!
• scuzzy valley dwellers HX Bus station - robbings, rapes... need i say more?
• The most short sighted under acheiving population anywhere in the UK, No wonder the Southerners mock Yorkshiremen. A shit-hole populated by unemplyed car thieves and morons.
• The Zoo bar. Without a doubt the direst place in Halifax to end up when the pubs close! Unless you're sixteen and then it's pretty cool.
• The worst thing is what the council has done to the town centre, I think they are trying to drive people out, it's virtualy a no go area now.
• scummers on smack asking for anything from 10p for busfare to a cig
• ok so we dont have a cinema (and the abc doesnt count)... but everyones goes to hudderfield for cinemas anyways
• The fact that you can't take one step into town without a twocker coming up to u and saying "eya, u, ya got twenny pee fot bus"....."what ya walking away for"...."don't ignore me"
• Too many smackheads asking you for change - my mate once got threatened with a syringe!
• Twockers, Townies, Trendies.("Schkateboard dick 'eds!")
• For culture, gigs etc., you usually have to go to Leeds or Manchester.
• the lack of shops, halifax has to be the worse place ever for shopping
• its eighties charm

• Halifax is rough - period.
• the halifax school kids who think they are hard
• calderdale council's treatment of its motorist (speed bumps , cylcle lanes , parking , kids in town on saturday afternoon , underage schoolies that go out on saturday night the begger who sleeps in the aly at the side of pitchers bar with his dog
• Closeness to Bradford.
• The fact that every time a shop closes another pub seems to open! The parking and the one way system
• Groups of shady looking youths hassling the Library security guards, Mixenden (AKA Mixxy) housing estate, 'TWOCKERS'and varios other townies!!! Also Todmorden is full of freaks, goths, inbreeds, eggheads and appearently aliens?!?!?! Alan Godfrey... ...Hmmm
• Certain areas are very fond of inbreeding.
• Calderdale Council Traffic Lights (lots) Halifax Town FC
• the big issue sellers & the beggar the weather the shops
• Dickheads on Fri/Sat night.
• Could put quite a lot in here - town centre on a Friday/ Saturday night can be pretty grim.
• Lots of expensive crap beer on sale which they still manage to sell.
