You will have noticed then that hampton is built on a prominant hill, this means the proposed runway will have a hump in it or a ramp at the end.

Barnhouse Childrens Nursery at Eatcote by Philip Blackburn (Member 10030618) on 13-Apr-2001
Does anyone know anything about the previous building before it was used as a childrens nursery. It is by a garden centre on the corner
between Eastcote and Barston. It used to be part of Eastcote Garden Nursery and I believe the outerbuildings were used as toilets. Different people have claimed that it is haunted and I just wondered if this story was true or someone has just made it up.

packhorse bridge by jrtbloke (Member 10017765) on 30-Sep-2000
the main page asks for more info on the packhorse bridge, so... The bridge was built by late saxon 'hamptonians' it was the main salt road from the black country to coventrys leather trade. It is recorded in the domesday book, along with a sizable note about the treacherous nature of the river 'being at times strong enough to bear a man away'. Nice.

Anyone got more accurate info?
