Favourite Building in Hamstreet, Kent*

Art deco, contemporary, futuristic, tall, short...

You can tell us more about Hamstreet.

Favourite Building
  • Cotton Hill House - nice example of 70s architecture in tranquil setting by duck pond.
  • The second world war pill-box along the one way street is a historic feature. There's another one along the canal.
  • The new houses next to the Chocolate box are a good example of modern houses built in traditional Kentish styles.
  • The Station house is historic and should be listed.
  • The station - think it will soon be listed.
  • Quite like Cotton Hill House which overlooks the duckpond. An attractive place to retire one would imagine!
  • Cotton Hill House is a lovely place for independant people to retire to. Ther duckpond outside is very pretty too.
  • There are some historic cottages in Warehorne Road and the three parish churches (Orlestone, Snave and more recent Church of the Good Shepherd are well worth a visit)
  • Any small house that is affordable to local people.
