  • Rock & Roll renegades are worth seeing if you like old style rock & roll rocked up a bit with a few protest songs thrown in.
  • Four Emotion are local and very good. Also look out for Push the Boundaries if you like punk.
  • The Diligafs are a rock band that has arisen from the ashes of the Soaring Phoenix. Two of the old Phoenix members play in this band along with a drummer from Soarbins Retreat and a bass player from Lembas. Their first gig was at the Woolpack in October 2008. many more gigs to come in 2009.
  • Check out the up and coming tribute acts at the Duke's. Elvis, Elton John, you name it...
