- If you count dancing as a sport there's Natalia's in the one way street.
- The MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) is now open for tennis, badminton, hockey, you name it. A new pavilion with nice changing rooms and its own bar is on its way...
- The multi use games area (MUGA) on Pound Leas, Hamstreet will be opening shortly. Villagers will be able to play tennis, etc. here soon.

- Fishing - the canal is very popular.
Walking - three long distance paths pass through Hamstreet (Saxon Shore, Greensand Way and Canal Path) - the village is a good base with station, food, pub open all day except between 3and 5pm on weekdays, accomodation, etc. ps. I heard that a local shop was going to open a B&B, is this true?
Cycling - good cycleway along the canal tragically ends in West Hythe, should run all the way to Hamstreet and on to Rye. And why not have a nice cycleway to Ashford via Gill Farm track and Lone Barn farm path? There's a good off-road club on Wed evenings.
- Hot air ballooning. Merlin balloons launch from the football field regularly. Pop into wady's store.
- Plenty of football clubs. Tennis courts are OK if you like playing without a net! Bowls club.
