I believe this has been replaced with a block of flats but I know there is a post card with a picture of Park Avenue on and I would dearly love to have this. I missed it on e bay recently by being outbid. Please, if any... more >>

Ralph Horton by Wendy (Member 10230364) on 24-Jan-2009
Barry Sutton would like news on his old friend, Ralph Horton, whose dad had a butcher's shop in Wellington Road in the 1950s. Ralph was later a roadie for the Moody Blues and was David Bowie's first manager.
  • Re: Ralph Horton by Paul-T (Member 10235813) on 4-Mar-2009
Hi Wendy, I don't know Ralph's most recent whereabouts, but I have just received information on one of Ralph's friends from his time with David, who might know more.

I would love to know if your dad can remember when Ralph left Birmingham for a story I'm writing on David's early career, please email if you can: paul@trynka.com

    Thanks, Paul
