• Hanworth fair. Thursday night was half price night, Time for the School kids to fight. Friday night was time for the 16-20 year old to fight and then came saturday night, once the Sailer emptied out all the piss headds went to fight the pikeys.
• All said and done it "IS" a community.
• Hanworth Carnival. Bring it back. The smell of dope that rings through the air.
• The old Brown Bear and Fred behind the bar. They never shoulda pulled it down and built that horrible overpass!
• relaxed atmosphere a kind of half town half rural feel, most people are very friendly.
• The Saturday night dances at the Village Hall
• Drinking my first pint of brown ale in the Brown Bear at the age of 14.
• The original Manworth carnival in Winslow park (Bear road).

• Crane Park is ideal for taking the kids for summer strolls on Sundays and the dogs for a walk. But I wouldn't recommend you go there at night in case you will get mugged or meet up with the Phantom Hanworth Flasher! Hanworth Park, it's big, surprisingly very green and ideal for football and other sporting activities. It even has a large funfair twice a year. Despite the reputation, most Hanworth folk are proud to of been brought up there! It's better than Feltham and Hounslow! Sainsburys is not far away, so shoppers who do their weekly groceries no longer have to go to Feltham.
