- Bill Robertson played in goal for Chelsea in the 1950's and then had a paper shop near the Brown Bear, I believe he is still a resident of Hanworth.

- Anne Bolynn, yep she used to have a hunting lodge here called Tudor Court, which still stands over the other side of Hanworth Park.
Rumour as it, her ghost has been seen walking from there to St George's Church. (It's probably just an urban myth)
