- I blieve the Rex is now demolished but I too went to the Re4x every Saturday morning to the ABC minors club - with the character running it called Auntie Andy?? - I can still sing the ABC minors songs complete with special words to the tune"Blaze Away".

- My mum used to work at the old Rex and we went to Saturday morning pictures. I lived in Braid Close and went to Crane infant and Juniors in the 50's and Lafone in the 60's moved away 1965. My maiden name was Barb Chambers
- Remember the REX ??? What memories. Like the guy who landed in the stalls just below the edge of the circle. "Where did you come from ?" "Up there" pointing towards the circle. That actually happened, I witnessed it !!

- Cineworld might be in nearby Feltham, but it's only a mile away and has 12-screens. It's great and the Asian's have their very own Bollywood screens.
But be warned if you come here in the evening's of midweek expect to be queueing for a good time. Also if you go to any film that's a PG or 12 expect to hear teenagers mobile phones going off every other minute!
