David Cox, very well known Victorian water colourist, lived in Greenfield Road. This writer (sic) used to be famous, but someone saying "Didn't you write [such and such] is now down to about once a month. Just off Greenfield Road. Chad Valley - mentioned by someone in another context - was still teh home of one of the Empire's main toymakers when I first came here in teh late 60s.
  • Mike Gayle lives in Harborne, he's a writer but not well known, you should check out some of his books there ok for a quick read.
