Cafes and Coffee Shops in Harlow, Essex*

Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • Is the cafe upstairs in British Home Stores still open? Many's the time I've enjoyed a bowl of stone-cold, weak-old chips in there - it's great if you want to be reminded of just how bad school dinners were. Otherwise, you have the choice of McDonalds, BurgerKing or an e-coli riddled kebab, eaten at night whilst sat on a market square stall where you will eventually get beaten up for looking at somebody's dog in a "funny way".
  • Go to cafe Elite in the town centre. It used to be the wimpy bar then starburger. Number 2 breakfast! Bacon, Eggs, Black pudding, mushrooms, sausage, coffee or tea and toast for under a fiver. The coffee is really good too not like some cafes where the coffee tastes like dust and dandruff.
  • Still the best lace in town for a egg and bacon roll is the sandwich bar near the bus stop. End of.
  • Cafe Mio just off Braod Walk is really nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a good menu with unusual stuff. Nice relaxed atmosphere and they play decent music.
  • THE SANDWICH BAR (OPPOSITE BUS GARAGE) IS LONG ESTABLISHED COFFEE HOUSE WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. ATTRACTS SOCIALISTS, COUNCILLORS AND PEOPLE WHO LIKE COFFEE AND CHAT
  • cafe mio near the bus stops in the town is nice, and there is a nice starbucks attached to sainsburys. OH! and theres an Esquires next to pizza hut in the town.
  • Cafe mieow does some lovely food.n the water gardens has the water margin (chinese) nandos (chicken chicken and er more chicken) or pizza hut!
  • i like cafe mio opposite the charity shops by the bus stop it does really nice paninis and sandwhiches
  • Theres a cafe that does excellent milkshakes in the water gardens.
  • cafe mieow, couple of lil coffee shops in the little walk,
  • nandoes if thats one
  • Cyberscene - Bush Fair Shopping centre - Harlows only Cybercafe'
  • GET OUT OF HARLOW, IT IS WRONG
  • whats with taking out the wishing water fountain and replacing it with a cafe that sells melted ice cream and bad coffee
  • The best cafe in Harlow is definately Tesco's Chruch Langley Way, the food is good and the price even better.
  • Warren says "eat your way to an agonising death by heart attack in the stow, bush fair or piggies pantry" Great value
  • There's a good greasy spoon cafe at the market as well as a few others dotted about
  • morello's in the harvey center, i like ice cream
  • The Market Cafe is fun in a greasy-spoon way. Grannies swear by the cafe in Little Walk (covered mall type thing with fake plants), as does the local schizo population. Single mothers like Morelli's in the Harvey Centre (another mall) because it's the only place in the Centre where you can have a fag, a necessity when doing Tesco with five screamin little darlings.
  • cafe at the stow a bit greasy and the people that work there give u some odd looks sumtimes but u get so much 4 really cheap prices. i recommend u try their big breakfast - even their hashbrowns taste nice!!
  • eat at home, its safer
  • None of any repute, pubs are the norm here. Cafe's have tried to set up before, and had to close due to lack of interest. There is a coffee shop at the station (as well as a newsagent). The news agent women are every friendly (but loud) and form a bit of a double act which can be quite amusing at times. The coffee shop seems to be doing a trade with the limited number of white collar workers that use this station (because there is no nearby station to the towns where they live).
  • i wish!
  • Morrellis, smack bag in the middle of the Harvey centre, bit mank really. Some other dingy looking place in little walk, that tries to be a restaurant and good old fave, upstairs in BHS where all the college students gather and buy one pot of coffee and make it last all day whilst they chain smoke in the sanctity of a parent free zone!!! Yes i have spent lots of time here!!!!
  • if you want to go moron spotting around town,I find that the best time is mid-morning(whilst everyone is at work) and the best venue is either Andersons of staple tye or the european style eatery, which is situated in little walk. A word of caution to non-smokers,little walk is in an enclosed area but it doesn't deterr the fattest, unhealthiest patron from lighting up while eating.
  • Loads and Loads.
  • The Playhouse Cafe Bar, The Market Cafe and Traders are all good places to get a cup of Coffee and also Food at the Two Cafes
