- Lots of good illustrators in Hastings, Tim Marrs, Andy Smith and Scott Garrett also Eine has been spraypainting shutters in the old town

- Hastings is inundated with artists and galleries...I couldn't possibly name them all but HAF on the Marina is beautiful and the Old Town has many little interesting ones.
- Best to walk along George Street in the Old town and decide what you like bestest!!
- www.BartlettArts.com is based in Bohemia Road. Excellent paintings of Parkour, Skatebording etc... also really cool portraits.
- Loads of artists in Hastings, most of them are nuts. Some proffesional some amatuer but the art scene in Hastings is very broad
- beach art, some guy that makespics with stones on the beach near the pier!

- we now have a stall on the pier every week and offer a range of VERY reasonably priced Gothic and Witchcraft jewellery along with many other 'new age' and interesting goodies. We aim to keep our prices as low as possible so's everyone can afford to look good!!!!

- George Street and the High Street - there's loads
- ANYTHING IN THE OLD TOWN,WHICH HAS TO INCLUDE MR MERCHANDISE,
- Plenty of secondhand Bookshops, eg The Book Jungle, North St, St.Leonards
- The New Hastings Pier - yaboom, great sun terrace in the summer. nICE WELKS TOO.
- Loads of arts & crafts in the Old Town. One shop on George Street has babies in sardine tins (just part of the exhibits!) and weird and wonderful sculptures from forks, cups and toilet seats - well worth a visit.
- Salamander, Olive Tree and Old Town.
- Very good dance artists locally - including specialty acts.
Liz Palombo and her Egyptian Mummies (comedy sand dance)
Almeh Amira and her Awalim (belly dance, gypsy dance, etc)
The Manhattan Mammas (ladies jazz tap troupe)
Alamail Palim (classical and contemporary Indian dance)
and quite a few good ballet/contemporary/modern dancers.
excellent dance schools. Dances courses (incl. belly dance, Greek and tap) also take place at the Adult Education centre (part of Hastings College).
Hastings Music Festival includes fabulous dance competitions (mostly for children)
Festival of Eastern dance covers belly dance, Indian, Chinese etc.
- theres a nice one thats owned by a man whos obssesed with 'WOMEN' orientated 'art'but i cant remember wher the bloody hell it is!!
