Cheap Food in Havant, Hampshire*

Corner eateries, quick bites and the local chippy

You can tell us more about Havant.

Cheap Food
  • The Deepak and Agra Indian restaurants are both very good. The Shapla is an excellent takeaway. Avoid the pizza places.
  • The Courtyard, Brill, Brill, Brill!!!
  • Hannibals Stir fry Restaurant.North street. Now there is something different but definately worth trying if you like cooking. You don't actually cook the food, you just collect together all the ingredients you want in your meal from the tremendous variety on offer. Take it to the chef and he will cook it in front of you. Excellent at about only ten quid each.
  • Avoid Macdonalds, it is a franchise and the owner is not up to true Macdonalds standards, he bans anyone at the drop of a hat, just because he does not like the colour shirt they wear, or football team they support! and he never forgets a face!!( but his is pretty hard to forget too, bulldog+wasp) If you like value for money and something a bit different go to the COURTYARD (which is next to Heidis) it is clean and friendly (unlike Heidis!) the food is excellent and the staff are REALLY pleasant.
  • Theres a take away buy the six bells called Sophie's the food is excellent. The Malt & Hops also cooks during the day i'm not sure what times though.
  • Pegasus Kebab shop is always a firm favourite after 15 pints of Stella. Usually attracts a police presence due to the high number of violently pissed customers.
