• To put the record straight Suggs from madness did go to Haverfordwest Grammer School.He was there for a few years but would have left before it became Tasker Milward. He lived in the Burton area and had a cousin (female)who lived on St Thomas's Green. He often stayed there.My girlfriend lived a couple of doors away.His cousin and my girlfriend did go to Taskers as it was an all girls school in those days.Hope this clears it up.
• fiona phillips mum does not work in ocky white any more, she has altziemers and is in a home. also fiona wasnt brought up in haverfordwest, they moved down here. i worked in ockys with her mum!
• Suggs from madness went to school not far away, David Gray (born in Solva & has a house there), The Colonel (bald young magician) went to school here,
• For the last time, Suggs DID NOT go to Tasker's because it was a bloody GIRLS' school when he was of school age. Tasker Milward came along LONG after Suggs had left school. Jeez.

• SIMON DAVIES OF TOTTENHAM AND WALES DRANK WITH HIM IN SOLVA(HARBOUR INN)
• I can confirm Terence Higgins, did in fact live in Priory Avenue, and did attend Haverfordwest Grammar which was under the careful supervision of Mr Bill Thomas known as "The Bull" as he achieved his degree at OXON. Other notable teachers were Mt Mangann (Teaching French), "Cozzie" Ray (teaching French), Dr Redd (teaching Chemistry), Dr Hayes (teaching Physics), Mr Roberts (teaching Biology), "Bonzo" Williams (teaching music and RI)and "Cocker" Roach (teaching Maths (and with his penchant for saying "right"with a lisp, after every statement could give Jonathon Woss a run for his money.Anybody remember the hell we gave "Bodie" teaching Woodwork? Other notable students of this era, Peter Biebrach, Adie Jones(now an auctioneer? Andy Gray (ex County Hotel?), "Flapper" Thomas, Wally Watson, Graham Lawson (Wolf's Cross) and Tudor thomas. Aaaah. memories!

• Hey, did you know that the reason Haverfordwest is twinned with the German town of Oberkirch is because action film star Dolph Lundgren was born in Withybush Hospital, and due to his close family ties in Haverfordwest(Sheila Jones, Godmother,lower Courts area 1989) he decided to shoot part of blockbuster film Red Scorpion in Withybush Aerodrome (his efforts were unsuccessful, as he injured his fibula in a freak steroid accident)

• Suggs DID NOT go to Taskers, because when he was school age it was a GIRLS' school!!!
• NO, Adam Ant of Adam and the Ants did NOT go to school in Haverfordwest. Simon Halliday, the former England rugby international was born there, and Augustus John the artist lived there, but not Adam Ant. And Suggs wasn't at Taskers cos it was a girls school and he wasn't at Tasker Milward cos it didn't even exist when he was at school.

• as an avid Spurs supporter there con only be one great star from H'west and that is Simon Davis, Who keeps scoring for the best team in the world.

• Suggs did NOT go to Taskers. He did however go to Haverfordwest Grammar School an all boys selective school. When Grammers were decame defunct in Pembs the Grammer merged with Taskers school for Girls and became what is now Tasker Millward.
• I once lived in the same house as the silent twins. I knew there brother, and my sister had the same doctor as them. I even had their bedroom, but it wasn't all that scary.

• It's a fact, Suggs went to Taskers. I also heard that the lead singer from 'Adam's Ants' (a sad 80's group) went to Thomas Picton!

• One of the actors for the series "Soldier,Soldier", resides some of the year in St Davids - Approx 18 from Haford - He has bought a house there. Also a film was shot recently near St Brides Bay and Mel Gibson was one of the famous actors.
