Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. This is the first time this venue will be used to hold this event, the Saturday evening includes a Modern Jive & West Coast Swing Freestyle. The competition for the first time will have a Modern Jive category, 'UK Modern Jive ProA m' Competition, and a 'Dance with a stranger' Competition. Both held on the evening of Saturday 2nd August 2008. To take part in the ProAm competition it will be necessary to be at the venue at 1830 on the Saturday evening. Hi, I used to live in Haverfordwest when my Dad was stationed at USNVFAC Brawdy. I had alot of school mates whom I would like to find out what happened to. I lived there 1976-78 and went to the Secondary School in town. Unfortunately, I can't remember some of the last names. I lived on Port Lion Rd. near Llangwm and have good memories of muk'in about with Ian & Sean Wood (Brothers), Simon & Jonath an ? (Brothers). I also used to go to air Scouts at the Brady RAF base. Derik Jones & Andrew Podranski were friends of mine. I remember a couple of my favorite teachers were Mr. Skelley the wood shop teacher (who I was scared to death of) and Mrs. Garner my homeroom teacher (beautiful). I also Remember my first "Girl Friend" Karen Lewis.
