• Ahh this is the bit...Benny's again, Loads of Chinese Takeaways a couple of Pizza places and the very best is Raj Mahal Restaurant!
• Lots of takeaways in town...some deliver some don't... Pizza, Chinese, (the best by far is Good Luck, a meal big enough for two for £6...and far tastier than the others)...Indian, there is a wimpy and a starbuger in town as well... Then of course you have the Legendary Benny's for burgers, chips etc and Stav's Kebabs outside the Bell on a weekend... There is a token chippy or takeaway on each estate aswell...

• Bennies! The only nice place to eat in town. Staff are lovely too. Not sure the moyonaisse in USA chicken is what it seems. Stavs i have never tryed, but probably should.

• Wonderful food at Haverhill Golf Club, Coupals Road, Haverhill Great quality, superb price, open to non members but check dress code. (No denim, jeans or trainers) Raj Mahal, in the High Street - especially cost effective on Tuesday evenings special menu - £9.00 a head all in.

• USA chicken Haverhill Kabab the legendary Benny's fish and chips oppisite the town hall- worth a try some lame pizza place up town plenty of take aways-the best is Hong Kong Chef - 1 Blair Parade Haverhill and get the set dinner B yum yum!
• some one wrote that bennies is the place for fine fish and chips which i wouldnt argue about except the basic facts are that bennies chips are foul oil drenched and generally a very poor version of a fine british meal, now if you want the best fish and chips in the country then get your lazy haverhillian arse up to chippys on the chalkstone and remember to be polite to the women who work there you may get a bigger portion!!! bennies stinks

• Wimpy, Starburger and Benny's. Benny's is very good. As is Good Friends chinese take away, no need to bother with the restaurant though. Rose and Crown has good family pub grub. Several dubious meditarranean ventures to be avoided - but then you can generally see them a mile off.
• Bennies for fish and chips. The Wimpy does very generous portions of chips.
• SAINSBURYS, Co-op and if you are really desparate - Aldi! Eating out there is chinese, indian, pizza and if you want the worlds best chips try: BENNIES (with chilli sauce) High Street.
