Pubs in Haverhill, Suffolk*
The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Haverhill.
Pubs
- White Hart, The Bell, Queens Head, The Bull, Rose and Crown and loads more all with some attitude going on.
- The Drabbet Smock is amazingly cheap, great atmosphere and cool people.
- Loads of em...
For a loud night you want the Bell, the White Hart, the Woolpack, (though mostly at weekends), there is a Weatherspoons, and for the quieter drinker the Aussie Arms, Queens Head, Black Horse to name but just a few...
There are a few who look quite young around more so at the weekend but again there is plenty of choice so don't complain find a pub that suits you and make that your local...
- if ya looking for fit fit young ladies to take home for a night of raw meaningless sex then the bell is the place to go! ply them with drinks and you'l soon b on ya way to the graveyard for a quickie.
- if you wonna fight go in any pub an ask 4 a pint an take a shotgun or a big steel bar
- 'Fresh faced crowd' should head to the snooker and bowl. As long as you smile/talk/flash breasts/give phone number to the John Cleese looking man on the door then you are guarenteed a night of getting pissed on overpriced, watered down beer with robbie williams blasting in your ears and football on a cinema screen.
- if you like slaggs pick a pub any pub woch out for semgwoods
- the Queens Head in Queen Street. The Grabbit Smock (in my humble opinion an unfortunate choice of name by owners Witherspoons known by some as the Mangy Scrote!) A modern, chain Pub in Witherspoon style. The name, Grabbit Smock, is derived from the garments worn in a past age by Agricultural workers and made on the numerous home based looms that were once provided the main source of income in Haverhill.

If you want a nice drink, with quiet music in the Background and Plenty to do, try the Snooker Club, Plenty of people havin a Laugh,
Alright so Us Haverhillians like to have a Drink or two, maybe we do occasionally have the ODD punch up, but at the end of the day everywhere has there moments, and Haverhill is just the same as any other place!!!
No Better and no worse.
I have lived here for 13 yr and, Ive never been pushed to do drugs, never been preggers and never had a fight for no reason.
Truly this aint a bad place to live or visit, and we dont dislike people for not livin here. HONEST!!!!
- White hart
Rose and crown
The woolpack
The royal exchange
The Drabbit
The black horse
- Autralian Arms
Woolpack
The Bull
The Whit Heart and many more but the best is the Scarlet Pimpernel- Wide screen TV, Hungry Horse restaraunt, many gigs by young bands
- fresh faced crowd? im sure they said that when i fell out of the womb too
- Queen's Head is the best place for the more mature drinker and lovers of Rugby songs during the season.
- Generally full of under-age prostitutes touting for trade form the inumerable over-weight slobs who inhabit the pubs round Haverhill. All manage astounding agility when it comes to pulling a knife. A wise man once said: "Go to Cambridge".
- Plenty - Current favourites in Haverhill are The Rose and Crown, Woolpack and Bell. If you'd rather avoid deafening music, yobs, and would like to be able to get to the bar, try the Rising Sun, Queens Head, Royal Exchange or the Pimp.
- There are lots.
- The white hart- not friday (if outsiders). This goes for all Haverhill pubs.
