Cheap Food

• Wharenui - a combination of delicatessen and wine bar, Wharenui serve the most wonderful platters of cheeses, meats, vegetarian food etc, along with some unique dishes and some very classy wines. Martin (a yorkshireman) and Verity (a kiwi) are a lovely couple, very hospitable. The food is of a very high quality but very good value. Don't take the kids in if all they eat is McDonalds :-)
• CHAPLINS on Oak Street --- Brilliant! Ask for Charles ... Chris @ 18-20 sent you!
• The Weavers Restaurant is a great place for that special meal, missed by many tourists but known by locals to be the best restaurant for far around. Located behind the tourist information office. Best pub grub is to be found at the old Hall. Home cooked good value, the beer is more expensive than other local pubs but the food makes this well worth while (but bring back the Black Sheep Ale - please!)
• The Olde Silent Inn won the Sunday Times pub of the year award a couple of years back. Not bad to say it's in the middle of knowhere. The food was ACE though! The winning landlord's moved to the Grouse at Stanbury now, and it's not meant to be as good.
• Haworth has one of the best Restaurants in the Bradford area, if not the best. Weavers Restaurant is listed in all the major guides and has been in the good food guide for the last ten years
• A couple of good curry houses on Mill Hey The Bronte Hotel and the 3 sisters Hotel do good food.
