- haydock catholic club - once a thriving bingo hall, sunday dance venue and live music hot spot, now been abandoned by many in favour of new ventures in AShton! Come back, we miss you and your missing out on the gossip. there are now fun days on a bank holiday and dodgy singers are still going on a sunday night.
- Working Mens Clud is a bit of an ironic name. Not that anyone in Haydock knows what ironic is. Or work for that matter.
