- well, horse and jockey on meneage street is nice
- Loads of bakers (Ruth's, Rowe's, Warren's and posh new emmet wonder Mother's)
Chippie's include the rank Hutchinson's which somehow managed to win best chip shop in the world, probably through some sordid means. Avoid it and go for Jenkin's Fish Bar, hidden on the hill at the bottom of Coinagehall Street, or Thurley's.

Indian on Wendron street, some other random Asian at the bottom of Trengrouse Way.
