Skateboarding Spots
  • Skate park next to the boating lake
  • Helston Skate Park, near the botaing lake, the park is free which is a good start, the ramps are made by GBH except the big pyramid which is amazing to skate has a fewe nice boses and rails, lush mini ramp and flat bank, quarters are perfect and a sick driveway, DEFINATLY worth a visit, and carpark is free, well kinda, oh and the locals are amazing (especially one)and sound. Helston sports centre/college if ur into big rails there is a perfect set of twelve, with a rail on the left and right hand side, and at the lower site there is a few alrite ledges and manny curbs.
  • the spot between the cattle market and the boating lake
  • Helston park by the boating lake is rad. GBH built it has some odd things in it but hey're damn good. Nice mini leading to flat bank and quarter, that goes to a huge bank with sub boxes, off the side of that there's this foot high grind box with a semi circular cut out that has coping on it if you wanna try some dodgy grinds, another coupla of hipped quarters leading to a long driveway with a set of 3 down it and a flat topped rail, plus a grind box across the edge and a flat downslope if you don't wanna do the steps. This leads to a huge quarter. In the centre of the park is a massive pyramid made of concrete, I don't know why it was put there cos it's not GBH built, it's painted gray and it's pretytu sweet to skate. You have to pay to get in but it's not that much. Oh and pay for parking if you go there, we got a ticket after like 5 minutes and we were not happy! The skaters there are pretty sick too...thought I'd add that. Worth going to I'd say....
  • Down by the boating lake, the much fought for skate park. No idea what it's like!
