- Herne Hill is famous among the National cycling community for it's cyclling stadium. It is about 100 years old although the banked track is recently renovated. Very important in Southern England there is racing at least twicw a week attracting riders from all categories through to some of Britains best. Current world and olympic champions compete at the annual Good friday meeting. Training sessions are on Saturday Mornings when newcomers and kids are welcome.
