- Where do you start? Because of its location fairly near to Liverpool and cheshire, it can count John Barnes, Steve Nicol, Paul Ince, Jamie Redknapp and Louise (often spotted in Heswall)and even the late great Earl Barrett, when he played briefly for Everton.
- John Williams, Barry Sheene's Suzuki team mate and famous T.T and Grand Prix Motor cycle racer and winner lived in Heswall, reckoned to be one of the greatest motor cycle road racers of his time appeared in the Guiness Book of Records as the fastest racing motor cyclist at Spa Belgium. John was killed in an accident in August 1979 at the Ulster Grand Ptix

Paul Ince used to live here and some say he still does.
Paul McCartney has a house here
Steve Nicol lived here
Bruce Grobbelaar had a house here
- Ian Botham was born here. Numerous footballers, Barry Horne(Everton), John Collins(Ex-Everton), Bruce Grobalar(Ex-Liverpool), Steve Nicol(Ex-Liverpool), David James(Ex-Liverpool), Joe-max moore(Everton), Paul Ince and Jami Redkapp+Louise are also always about.
- Freddie Star I',m sure lives in the area. Doesn't he have a big star painted on his garage door?

- Hmmm I think most of these "famous" people have now gone to the more prosperious West Kirby or Bromborough/Eastham areas.
- Heswall has a great musical heritage. How about the following people who live/lived in Heswall: Ian Astbury (The Cult), Bill and Jeff (Carcass/Napalm Death), PS Mulville (veldt), Andy McClusky (OMD), I'm sure there's plenty of others. As I child I remember being shown where Paul McCartney's relations lived (in lower Heswall), and Freddie Starr's too!
- David James (Liverpool Goalie) lived here until a few months ago. I'm not
sure where he lives now. Sonia (Better the devil you know) lives here
(well her parents do). I served both of these people in the shop I used
to work in. Louise and Jamie Redknap go to Est Est Est (or so I've heared,
don't know if it's true)
