Cheap Food
- Khrua Thai Orchid 103-5 Brimstage Road Heswall Hills. On Sundays, The Khrua Thai Orchid offer a special buffet menu which is available from midday until 8pm in the evening.Unlike most other Thai restaurants, the menu is table d'hote rather than a la carte. If you eat before 7pm it's £12.95 per person for 2 courses; after 7pm, £15.95, and on Saturday's the price is £16.95.
- Well it must be WHAT'S COOKING, a Heswall favorite since 1981. Great American style food all served at a reasonable price. And who hasn't been asked, if they have finished with the relish tray......
- Another chinese/fish and chips shop opening in Heswall. Do we need any more. Proprietors must think we live to eat in Heswall. The good old ones are stil the best. Pisces all the way.
- PISCES rox!!!!! ya silly if ya dont go there!
- Must try Pisces take away in heswall. fresh food, great friendly service, well worth the cost. nice to see just a traditional fish and chip shop. not many around locally.
- PISCES take-away on Milner Road, Heswall sells the best food ever.
Always fresh and very friendly service. They certainly deserve the
awards they have received.
- Plenty of cheap food in Heswall, goes with the cheap clientelle. Fish and chip bars, kebab shop, Curry Houses, pizza places to name but a few - contributing to plenty of litter and making the place look shabby.
- Heswall Supper Bar, Pisces Bar on Milner road (one of the best in the North West apparently)
- Has No one tried GEM or THE OLIVE BRANCH ?
- kwick save
- PISCES Traditional Take Away. Great tasty food, clean and friendly establishment.
Milner Road.
- the Gem fine dining resturant is brilliant- very good food by talented chief and excellent waiting on service. definately recomend!
- Ha!! when i was in Heswall, we went to the restaurant "ego" with my family, they couldnt eat much of the food, so we ended up ordering a bit of each item on the menu. our star guest didnt show up, so we decided to leave, and cancel the order. as we were walking out, you could see the cooks in the back room laughing at our order. i think they were glad to get rid of us. its the most embarassing thing ive ever done. However nothing can beat good old pub food, and Whats Cooking on monday nights! they need something like that in New Zealand!!
- Have to disgree on the Greek restaurant comment. We found the staff very friendly and not at all 'snotty', in fact they were quite chatty.Food was superb. We live in North Wales , the long drive is definately worth it...we'll be eating there again!
- Whats Cooking? my top favorite since the early 80`s
- The service in estestest has definately improved under the new management and there are usually some good deals on if you ask.such as a monday, tuesday wednesday they did a £15 menu-a bottle of wine per person and 3 courses included in the price or three pints of lager/beer and three courses for the same price! So far when i've been in there i've seen emile heskey, michael owen, ince and of course barnes.jamie redknapp as well as louise!
Ego is an immitation of estestest and dining room 107 is way too over priced for the food it serves.
The glegg restaurant after the refurb has nice food but not much of a vegetarian selection-good service though.
all the take aways are great but andrews serve the best chips.
Domino's pizza is lovely.
The GEM fine dining restaurant behind iceland is meant to be really really nice.
There is also a greek restaurant on the main road although they are a bit snotty in there.
- What's cooking is crap. Lots of common restaurants that are found in every other town such as Est Est Est, Pizza Hut, Ego, Pizza Express etc! I.E Pizzas and chippys rule here.
- apparently that new restaurant Dining Room 107 has a 6 week waiting list. Ive bin there its tasty, but expensive for what u get. I prefer Whats Cooking, but some of the waitresses are really snotty
- "What's Cooking" on mondays, cheap as chips.
- The Kebab house and the Chippy.
- Est Est Est restaurant is cheap n cheerful, they have these restaurants in lots of places.
- Ego is by far the best restaurant. Est is too commercial and bad service. although worth it to spot Jamie Redknapp. Whats Cooking offers cheap Monday nights.
- The Oriental palace is the best chinese take - away in the area! The sweet and sour chicken is divine!
- very good in heswall
- Recommend Treasure Inn Chineese, expensive though. Est Est Est, Ego, Whats Cooking, and Heswall Tandori are all pretty good too. There are a lot of restaurants here because there are a lot of well-off people in parts of Heswall or Pensby.
- there's loads! Millenium tandoori, oriental palace, loadsa chippies (Andy's, and the busy bee r the best)Dominoes pizza, e.tc
- Plent of cheap chippies to choose from. The burger house around Pensby is really greasy and horrible.
- Est Est Est (Italian) is okay.
Whats cooking grill/bar.
- Heswall has lots of places where you can buy food. Two chippies (The Busy
Bee and another on Telegraph Road. These are good places to go when you come out
of the pub! Heswall also has a takeaway (millenium
tandori). There is also Sayers for sausage rolls, pasties etc. Heswall
has lots of posh restaurants on the main road (Est Est Est is one, I can't
remember the name of any of the others)and they are always full of people
on a Friday and Saturday night (or any other night for that matter).
