- The cafe at Heybridge Basin is now called the lock, not the Withey
- Witheys cafe on the sea wall, part of the Clint Swann empire! Run by Wilkin and Son Jam from Tiptree. Too touristy now, better when you could go in for a good cheap hangover breakfast!!
- Basin Cafe now called 'The Witheys' (Summer 2001), Good food, cracking breakfast, boat yard attached for repairs if your visiting. A few bike groups visit Sunday Mornings, park on Canal side and walk to Cafe 200ft away on Sea wall
- Witheys? Cafe on Sea wall, cracking hang over breakfast, motorbike clubs have started stopping there early Sundays for a cuppa and show off there ZXPfirebadebuzzas
- One Cafe, up the top end of Basin road by the Jolly Sailor, on the seawall.
Does excellent "hangover breakfasts"
- On sea/river/canal front
- One on the waterfront , cheap & cheerfull with excellent views of Romsey Island nature reserve if you dont mind the midges.
