Live sounds in a garage, pub, park or stadium
You can tell us more about High Wycombe.
Live Music Venues
- NAGS HEAD, well the BLUES LOFT is such a great venue, has some sick bands there and the ROUNDABOUT is mental when its packed out
- Nags Head for indie, rock and metal
roundabout for breakbeat, techno, drum and bass
- The White Horse :D
- The White Horse on the A40 (west wycombe road) - Just outside of town is quite popular with the younger generation. 16-24ish. Mostly rock music.
- The Horse of course. If you like Swedish Goth Lesbians outfits and other rarer musical delights.
- White Horse has some alright stuff on. Was surprised to see bands at the Glasshouse on Sundays aswell. Just some local bands, but good atmosphere and good drinks
- The White Horse is your best bet if you prefer live rock music. (And strippers during the day!!) They have a minor's license til 12pm. (Unless this has changed recently) So under 18s are allowed but must leave at midnight. How effective this system is falls to the eye of the beholder... There are various dodgy rumours regarding aspects of this venue, they may or may not be true but I've never had any trouble there.
- white hoarse - west wycombe road, red lion pub - london road
- Live entertainment offered under new management at The Downley Donkey pub, www.downleydonkeypub.co.uk
- The Roundabout, Bridge Street. Strange place but lots goin on, from touring U.S punk bands to DJs and karaoke. Down to earth with a real DIY ethic.
The White Horse used to be good but it's gone off the boil lately.
- The Shite!! (the white horse) excellent live alternative music, cheap entry too. although it tends to be full of 12 year olds now..
- ldza ppl go to da white horse to watch bands, its a fiver to get in.
- wycombe swan
- Irish club is gud esp. for private parties but will not let 10year olds drink there
- The Red Lion London Road IS the new Nags Head Jam nights on Thursdays and live bands on Fridays & Saturdays for details of gigs see their website www.redlionrocks.co.uk
- white horse in wycombe will get u throu that teenage angst- the band nites r pretty cool.
- Only White horse as far as i know but apparently its got bit shit dere, U can go in at any age £5 entry normally. Wen i say any age be realistic 1st skool kids!
- White Horse. It's the only place in Wycombe for people who don't like the consistant thudding of crappy dance, R&B and Drunm and Base music which all sounds the same.
- the shite......... sometimes the roundabout have music on
- the hobgoblin is the best bloody pub in the whole fucking world, not only do they have live music, they have a fucking crazzeeeeeeeeeee quiz-WICKED. FR4ED AND ROSS LOVE IT THERE BUT DO NOT FOGET THE FALCON WHICH HAS A BEER AND BURGER DEAL, THE ANTELOPE IS A BIT OF A SHIT HOLE BUT YOU CAN STILL GET AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE FROM THERE. ROSS AND FRED XXXXX
- the white horse man rocks the boat.
- White Horse, bit small though and dam smokey
- White Horse of Course
- the shite.. i mean white horse have some cool bands now ans then.. saw maxi jazz there wicked!
- Look wycombe is so fad YOU MUST STAY AWAY.... The Students who got to BCUC cant stand it and they want you to stay because there nothing but a bunch of corporate liars. Believe me if u got to university here you'll be sure to die here. Oh they can sell you the lies with there stupid Selling points when you actualklky vist but believe me it sucks!!!!!
- The White Horse has quite a good reputation as a live music venue, I can't comment having never been.
O'Neills is excellent if a little pricey on drinks, and has a live band every weekend.
- Christmas Common.......u know what i mean
- well, its only really the horse that gets the vote here, maybe the goblin recently. But this year sees the union open up to the public as a club called plush, its undergone a massive refurb, so MTK will def play!!
- The White Horse - I saw Kings of Leon there about 6 months ago.
- The white horse pub on west wycombe road...
- Big it up to the Shite.......
- the white horse - finally shaking off its biker tag - paul the landlord is about eightfoot and built like a bricks**t house but he's one of the soundest bloke I've ever met
- Live bands at O'Neills on Friday nights - sometimes quite qual although usually of the pedestrian cover band variety.
- White Horse has had some very cool metal/punk/hard rock bands play there in the past (Skindred, Prophets, Exploited), but it has a tendancy to have a REALLY crap disco after bands finish. They always start off well (ie: 60's soul and R n B, but always degenerate into playing 80's crap. A L W A Y S
- da white horse is da best! 100% shite, but da best!
- IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO SEE REAGAN GO SEE THEM, THERE QUITE COOL,
- HOGSHEAD JUST TO LISTEN TO THAT REPEATED CHEESE THEY INSIST ON PLAYING, JUST LOOPING OVER AND OVER NEVER ENDING.... I DONT KNOW HOW THE STAFF COPE, I PITY YOU ALL.
- the WHITE HOURSE is a good place to see bands if thats your thing, if you get a chance check out REAGAN not everyones favorite but dont believe the trend, check em out regulars at the white horse.
- The Le De Spencers in Downley if you are under 5foot and like impersonating a sardine
- White horse is tolerable, as long as you avoid kindergarten nights.
- THE SHITE (white horse) get with the lingo Fred
- The white horse. My mate saw Reuben there and thought they were rubbish. It's very expensive as well. They have some good bands though. Other than that, the venue at the uni. Although not many good bands go near there.
- The White Horse is fantastic if you like paying £5 to listed to a troupe of Z-list nobodies pretending that they're the greatest band ever, being surround by 14 year-old rock chicks and being squashed to death on a Saturday night. Or there's the Legends Bar, the greatest atmosphere since your last school disco!
- white horse baby!!!
- The white horse! it's a pub that has lots of gigs on most fridays and saturdays of local and touring signed and unsigned bands. lost profits performed there two years ago!! lets not mention it's unsavoury dancers on wednesday afternoons.....
- White Horse for live bands - and open til 2 so plenty of time to drink, drunkenly "pull" some teenage boy, before staggering to the taxi, vomitting and passing out in a heap.
- Brute Force at the Irish club. Or the white horse, fondly nicknamed the shite. has sum gd bands on fridays
- same as i just typed, Go to Brute force and the thing a White Hart Pub and If mosh 2k comes back.
- RIP Nags Head.
- The White Horse seems to get pretty good bands and it's got a licence for later opening hours. The biker clientele don't seem to bother you if you don't bother them.
- White Horse and Roundabout pubs. Used to have the Nags Head where everyone from The Sex Pistols to Mark Knopfler had paid, now its been turned into a gay pub called "The Rainbow".
- unit 3 (melt refurbished) will be having live music during the week when the students are back
- The Chede - errm, no. Firkin - music in a pub. The White Horse - live bands, pretty famous, not bad (apparantly)
- white horse
- Roundabout - Good. Studenty. Pub prices.
Alternative bands. Club Nights - Chris Liberator was there 9th June.
White Horse - Classic rock venue..... bikers . . .Hmmmm
