I would be very grateful if anyone might be able to give me some information regarding my Birth Mother, Sheila Cooney. She named me Patrick Joseph Cooney and I was born on Christmas day 1958. This I found out very recently when I managed to obtain a copy of my original Birth Certificate. Unfortunately, my adoption papers appear to have gone missing.

St Pelagias 1942 by Nick Connors (Member 10295535) on 4-Sep-2014
Hi, i'm looking for information about St Pelagias in 1942. My Paternal Grandmother Delia Curley (possibly now Delia A Cook) gave birth to my father there in January 1942. We know next to nothing about Delia, but i'm trying to piece things together from ancestry and the few documents we have. I know its a long shot but please comment if you have anything or know what the place was like in 1942.

thanks

Nick
