I am looking for information of a John Thomas Crabbe from freshwater, Isle of Wight. He was in the Royal Navy on board the HMS Shackleton, around 1959-62? He was friendly with a Bob Mitchell and Geoff Cleary. I believe he now resides in the Northants area. During WWll, 1943-44, my father, Robert " Gordon " Cole. was stationed at Aldershot, He was a gunnar instructor in the Canadian Armored Corps. Is there anyone out there could give some information about chandlers ford. we are thinking of relocating and need to know schools (junior and secondary) to go for (and which to avoid), what to do, which bits to lookat for houses. What's it like to live there - do people give a s**t etc. We have boys 9 and 7 and both work from home if that helps any. Any info gratefully received.
