Cheap Food

• Subway (not that cheap) gregs and bakers oven
• We no longer have a mcdonalds, so the chavs took over KFC. Leaving the remaining decent people to hang in subway!
• Place to avoid - The Dil Raaaj, formerly known as The Tin Hat pub on Trent Road, they promise you a delivery time but don't expect them to keep it, and don't expect that what you've ordered will be what is delivered. Recent experience (Sept '07) indicates they take 90 minutes to deliver when they promise 45 and it's wrong when it arrives, chicken instead of lamb? The worst onion bhajias I have ever tasted in any indian restaurant anywhere in th uk. Avoid at all costs. And on a Thursday, not their busiest night!
• The butchers at the top of castle st. The hot cobs are a bargain!
• Altro Mondo's has to be the WORST restaurant in the United Kingdom. Old fashioned decor, unimaginative menu served by disinterested and unpleassant Neanderthal staff and incredibly over-priced for the sh1t that gets churned out that room they CALL a kitchen. If you NEVER go anywhere again, make sure it's here.

• We have TWO McDonalds [one in the town center and a drivethrough on the Northern Perimeter Road], a Kentucky Fried Something, LOADS of Chinese and Indian restaurants, an Italian Restaurant, a couple of Pizza Parlours [Dominos and Pizza Parlour], Fish and Chips Shops everywhere, Kebab Houses...in fact, we must be a pretty hungry bunch here!
• McDonalds and KFC.
• there are also alot of resturants
• The Spice Bazar is really nice. Quite cheap to.

• MACY D'S!!
• Two worth noting for post pub/club munchies, both on Regent Street: 1) Seafish Mama - Standard chippy, average. 2) Turkish Delight - Personal favourite, they do the nicest cheeseburgers outside of McDonalds and you can always get a good bit of banter going with the guys who run it. There's also 2 McDonalds, one in town and a drive-thru on the Northern Perimeter Road.

• Only after drink!!!
• ALTRO MONDOS IN REGENT STREET IS A GOOD ITALIAN,ITS NOT CHEAP BUT THE FOOD IS NICE WHEN IN SEASON THE MUSSLE STARTER WITH A SALAD AND BREAD IS VERY REASONABLE
• Mac Donalds and KFC, I think KFC's the only good thing about Hinckley!
• Hinckley college canteen
• the balti resturant on coventry road hinckley has the best food in town.
• Best chip shops in the country! Brookside Chip shop especially.
• McDonald's, KFC, Baker's Oven etc. Nearest Burger King is on the Meridian park in Leicester.
• Kingfisher Chippy - On corner of Dean Road West and John Street. McDonalds. KFC.
