• 5 mins drive outside Hinckley is the Sound Foundry in Attleborough, Nuneaton The facilities are excellent. Everything is there so you only have to plug in. Friendly, knowledgable people and free tea & coffee.
• we go to crossing gates recording studio in nuneaton, they hire their live room out for rehearsals for peanuts & it's got loads of really good kit you can use for free. it's shitloads better than rewind.
• Theres a new place in earl shilton that took over from that rubbish rewind place, the convolution rooms or somthing.. I went to have a look last week and its really smart and aparently they have worked with kasabian and the happy mondays! dont know anywere that does PA hire tho.
• There's plenty, but there all hidden away from the chavs.
• there is a place in shilton where u can hire a room look in hinckley times for details
• Rewind Studios is the only decent place (www.rewindrooms.co.uk) Can often get spare rooms at the colleges but the equipment will be awful so bring your own!
• rewind practice rooms in earl shiltion and mabe u can blag the college to let u practice there
