The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Hinckley.
Pubs
- You cannot turn a corner without seeing a pub - end of.
- Castle tav,top pub!
- FEATHERZ
- Full of chavs and kids. Unless it's pension day and then the oldies come out on the pull after their "Senior Citizen All You Can Eat for a Fiver" at Altro Mondo's - interesting and amusing.
- UNION
- comfort inn in earl shilton, if you are looking for something sofisticated its wicked and with ladies night every friday night with buy one drink get one free it a bargain! it used to be a real dive but with a lick of paint and a facelift its looking good
- litten tree the baron branagans (club pub woteva) thers loadz cnt really name um

- greyhound, prince of feathers, littentre, the baron, beavers bar, and laodz mroe
- ASHBY TAVERN!!! Its the place to be!!! Lots of wicked people and good looking staff!
- Anyone can get served in BRANIGANS
- HINCKLEY KNIGHT RULES! plenty of sport, good beer n great staff...ahem...ME!!
- Prince Of Wales they do serve minors (gods honest truth) but it they do serve a good beer
- The Baron. The Litten Tree. Brannigans. Kaseys. Reflex. The Union.
- there are hundreds of scabby scabby pubs
- The Dog and Gun. if your into sleezy men and the roughest people in the whole of hinckley!!
- Theres the litten Tree ect. But if you want a nice meal in a pub go to the LIME KILNS on the A5
- Here's the definitive run-down of Hinckley town centre pubs: (in semi-geographical order)
1) The Union, The Borough - Pretty good for a few quiet ones with your mates, good place to start your pub crawls
2) The Dog & Gun, The Borough - Don't even bother unless you're willing to fight for your beer!
3) The Baron of Hinckley, Regent Street (JD Wetherspoons) - V. nice new pub, lots of local history if you like that kind of thing, pretty much the same as any other JD Wetherspoons.
4) Reflex, Market Square (used to be The Bounty) - Recently converted to an 80's bar, i like it cos they play quality music! There is a club attached to the back, used to be Alleycats but they changed the name when they opened Reflex, not actually sure what it's called now, probably something like "Shit Club at the back of Reflex"
5) Branagans, Regent Street - Long pub with very low roofs and poor lighting, recently "renovated" (they painted the walls a bit brighter), still just a standard townie pub. Not being a moaning old git or anything but the musics always too loud! Has got a late licence though!
6) Kase Hotel/Bar, Regent Street (Used to be the Vinery) - Much better since redevelopment, good little bar uspatairs where they sell vicious shooter cocktails. The Vinery was always the pub me and my mates went to when we were slightly younger than other drinkers, and it's where i had my first proper pint, so its got a special place in my drinking history.
7) The Litten Tree, Regent Street - New pub, nice, bit more expensive than the others but has got a late licence so worth a visit if you don't fancy the clubs (which you shouldn't if you've got any taste!).
8) Moody's, Station Road - Very youthful clientele, also popular with the local pikeys. OAP cafe in the day, quite small but they do have good offers on bottles usually.
That's about it for the town centre, there are others out of the centre which are OK, like Kahn's on New Buildings and The Sportsmans on Coventry Road.
- The Coach House at Mallory Park. Like any proper Hinckley "car enthusiast" would go out on the town in Hinckley.
- the butlers house burbage sapcote
- LOADS OF THE BUGGA'S!
- The Groove to see all the over 30's dance like your Dad.
- Sorry, I'm 19 and too old for the pubs in Hinckley!
- new pubs include the litten tree, v. trendy, bit expensive if u r a student, but full of people u know. wetherspoons, v. cheap, also v. trendy, toilets are way upstairs though, so expect a bit of a climb
- Holywell's not bad, but you can't beat the Bounty.
- The Galaxy, on Tilton Road. A great pub for young people with loads of pool tables, laser jukeboxes, MTV, a widescreen for football, and a great selection of beer.
- Loads and loads.. ones to watch for a night out are the Vinery, the Bounty, Branagans.. some more mellowed out pubs inculde the Ashby Tavern and the Prince of Wales Check out Sub Zero for the Theme Bar (decked out like a WW2 submarine, heh); there's also Kahn's, a cool wine bar, on New Buildings. Not a posh place but relaxed and cool :]
- The Weavers Arms... (list endless)
- A 'local' that is surely one of the best. Good beer in good surroundings where standards of service and cleanliness are at their best. Excellent and friendly owners in Lisa and Tim.
