  • Paul William Arnold, local cainer still appears for guest visits.

  • Julie Walters has had a farm in/near Loxwood for years The midget from Willow and loads of other films lives with his family in Horsham (I know as his son used to to play with my daughters and I dropped him at the swimming baths with a group of kids in the car once)
  • peter andre lives nearish and is often at broadbride heath tescos
  • Carl Cox did indeed used to live in Horsham in the early 90's down Highland avenue, loads of people used to go around his house and get tapes/flyers off him and bring them into school.
  • Nicholas Lyndhurst's parents used to own Warnham War museaum, which became Tyldens in the 90's (If I remember correct). My grandmother used to work there, she met Nic a few times.

  • Diana Dors used to live in the Horham area in the 50s, she used to come shopping in Horsham driving her big American car. Billy Fury's road manager lived here at about the same time and Billy used to stay here and would go to the annual fair in the local park and sign autographs while he hung out. British Rock and Roll bad boy Vince Taylor (Brand New Cadillac) played at Horsham's Capitol theatre. The Rolling Stoes played an early gig in the back room of a local pub in the early 60's. I believe that Patrick McGoohan was an odd job man in a local pub as an aspiring actor. Maurice Micklewhite, later Michael Caine, was Stage Manager at the Capitol Theatre in the mid 50's.
  • Paul Darrow (sp?) from Blake's Seven lives in Billingshurst.
  • Roger waters on bourne hill during "the wall" era
  • Jimmy Hill ctually lives nearby. My mate used to work in a garage and Jimmy Hill came in and the dopey git left his credit card there. Not just a moronic face.
  • Shelly used to live near there as he was born there, but he also thought the place was a dump so he upsticks and moved to London, just like I want to do.

  • MY DAD MARK LISLE WAS IN HARRY POTTER
  • Big Dave Gilmour lives in the Billingshurst.
  • Oliver Reed did NOT die in a pub in Warnham, I know because I live there and frequent the pub and Im quite sure I would've heard if a major Hollywood actor had died on the tiles of my local. And Im pretty certain he would've had more taste than to visit the grotty excuse for an inn around the corner which we Warnhamites know as The Greets. So Im pretty confident he didn't pop his cloggs there either. However, The Whos Roger Daultry opened the gym in Warnham and Alvin Stardust has been seen on the treadmil there. My brother used to go to school with Carl Cox and Posh n Becks viewed a house in Warnham,as did Damon Hill, which has now been turned into luxury flats. My art teacher at Tanbridge also taught the bloke who drew Tank Girl and Gorillaz, and he also taught the dude who designed the puppets used in Jim Hensons; The Dark Crystal. Oh, and of course, I live here!
  • Alan Wilder Ex Depeche Mode lives in Itchingfield
  • The guy from the Time Bandits is called Malcolm Brown, his son-in-law is Mark Lisle who was in Willow as an Ewok. I know cos he's my brother in law.

  • Some dude from an old sci-fi program Blakes 7. People who sound famous but aren't: John Cusack, Steve Davis, Roger Moore
  • Robin Goodridge, the drummer from Bush, used to live here until the whole band buggered off to Ireland in a bid to avoid tax...he even went to Forest Boys. And yes, Carl Cox was once a resident...his house was right next to Millais....dodgy. Oh yeah, apparently Oliver Reed died on the floor of the pub in warnham. And another thing....Hinda Hicks (who the hell is she?) lives in Billingshurst

  • Carl Cox, Harry Enfield, Millasis, me, Im sure I served Victor Meldrew in Wilko (miserable devil) however may be wtrong. Heard rumour that posh spice came in to Gamleys and asked for them to close the shop whilst she shopped there. Maybe false
  • The band The Beat Merchants went to school at Forest
  • Carl Cox lives just outside Horsham - fact. Phil Collins moved away with his seperation from his wife. The reason Oasis and other famous musicians are seen around town is that there is a recording studio in Warnham, a place actually more dire than Horsham, so they travel into town.
  • Fred West used to live here before moving to Glouster
  • My mum ran Molly Sugden over with a pushchair, outside boots.
  • Peter Bowles can often be seen round town and I've seen Alan 'Tubby' Turner in the Bishopric.

Patsy Palmer's (Bianca from Eastenders) parents live in Horsham and also Will Carling has been seen about a bit recently. Most recently in the Indian in London Road!!! So there!
  • Sad that i know this, but Harry Enfield's dad, Edward lives in Billingshurts (u know that annoying bloke off Watchdog)
  • With the opportune release of The Gorillaz album, it should be made known that Jamie Hewlett (cartoon whizz and incidently creator of Tank Girl) lived in Horsham, attended Tanbridge House School and was a one time shelf stacker at Payless DIY.
  • Mark Lyle was one of the ewoks too.. allegedly...
  • Carl Cox really did used to live here... He used to have mates like those twats from Oasis down.
  • The council can't seem to bleed enough out of the fact that Percy Bysh Shelley (old skool poet and husband of "Frankenstein" auther Mary Shelley), everythings called "Shelley *something*", even the daft-looking-second-hand Wet Pasty fountain in town centre is supposed to be about some passing comment by him on "eternal waterfall".
  • The poet Shelley was born in Broadbridge Heath, not far from Tescos! Has a pub named after him now.

  • That idiot loving Chelsea supporter Phil Collins
  • Millais the painter( senior school is named after him) Phill Collins Oliver Reed
