You can tell us more about Horsham.
Cheap Food
- Greggs ha ha ha ha ha I cant stop laughing cos Horsham is supposed to be soooo classy yet there is a Greggs and a Mcdonalds I bet that must niggle and irritate like an itch on the sole of your feet you cant scratch with boots on for the stuck up fake posh people who view their high street as exclusive because it has a few cobbles an a Moss Bros. Wankers
- The ususal rubbish.
- macdonalds is cheap...the staff r moody n rude but if uv only got a pound its ok..beeches buffet u cn get a decent sandwich 4 around a pound
- The burger van in Hombase car park is good
- greggs, maccy d's
- i
- Tortellini is a nice little palace. Another italian restaurant to add to the growing list in Horsham. The foods yummy, resonable on a small budget and the coffees are very nice too. Ask for the northern bloke Paul to make you a cappucino, and check out his artistic chocolate power designs. Bound to make you chuckle. I occasionally work there so feel free to pop in and say "ello".
- Martins newsagents is good. The Christian cafe is really nice.
- Beeches Buffet - the best food anywhere, a doorstop sandwich for £1 - can you believe it - blinding food and all home made
- Very good for eating in and take aways. Has just about everything.
- Mekong Chinese take away on Brighton Road is very tasty and my fave night in food!
- prezzo, pizza express that sorta thing
- The Lynd Cross (weatherspoons) is excellent for food (cheap and good)
- piccolos (West Street)- good italian food and freindly staff
River Kwai ( by the town hall ) great thai - try the dim sum!!
- river kwai - good one to take the girlfriend if you're feeling flash, new street ocean fish bar does reliable chips when you're not!
- MacDonalds do a strange thing called a "Big Mac" but I wouldn't try it because it tastes worse then three day old dog poo.
- Some of the best Indian restaurants around.
- pizza express! yum! never have enough tables though and always end up waitin for ages.
- maccy D's and KFC and burger king there is a wimpy which lives up to its name. and costs a bloody loads
- dirty
- River Kwai is brilliant, and Oiccolos just above Sketchleys is good aswell. Thats about the best two restaurants in Horsham, mind you, the curry places are very good too!
- paninoes worth it just to speak to one of those italians
- River Kwai, China Brassiere and Coles are the best resturants by far.
- B52's again
- Maccy Dees is the place to hang if you're under twelve years old. Good tucker loads of wankers.
- LES DEUX GARCONS. Pricey but the food IS to die for. Beafeater at Station and most places on town are rweasonably good.
- B52'S in Piries Place, BEEFEATER in North Street, BURGER KING in the Carfax, THE COURTYARD in Swan Walk (used to be Fontana's), DOMINO PIZZA (takeaway) in Springfield Road, MCDONALDS near the fountain, MERRYTHOUGHT RESTAURANT in the Bishopric, MR LI'S CHINESE RESTAURANT in Springfield Road, PICCOLO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT in West Street, PIZZA EXPRESS in East Street, PIZZA ORGANIC in Denne Road, RAJ KUMAR INDIAN RESTAURANT in Springfield Road, SMITH & WESTERN in North Parade, TELEPHONE PIZZA COMPANY (takeaway) in Queen Street, TORTELLINI in East Street, WIMPY in West Street and in the bowling alley.
- zing great food, wine and service
- The Laughing Buddah in East Street gives and alternative Thai option to the River Kwai. This was previously the Marakesh Indian Restaurant.
- From the carfax have Boots on your left and walk out towards the little stretch of duel carrage way. Cross over and straight opposite to the right of a little car park is a small road. Down there on the left hand side is a top indian, good food (chicken Jalfrazzi is tops)and they often give you a brandy on the way out. OK I now the cost is hidden in your nann but a nice idea. The staff don't rush you either which is a common thing I have found in indians.
- Paninos are a bit expensive, go to the Candy Box were they sell Panino sandwiches for cheaper
- I luv this site, its great, but the info about the mongolian restaurant is now incorrect because about 2 years ago it became ANOTHER indian restaurant! called the raj kumar, they have a great all you can eat buffet!
- Mongolian Experience now an upmarket Indian. Pizza hut in The Crown pub, very smoky and dodgy customers. About 8 Indians, 2 Chinese, 2 Thai, 3 Pizza, 2 Italians, Merrythought in the Bishopric for a hilariously old fashioned experience.
- Bishopric - 1 takeaway curry, 1 takeaway chinese, 1 kfc, 1 kebeb house, 1 fish and chip shop, on off license, all within spitting distance of each other
- curry houses
- Macdonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut in 'The Crown' No good chinese takeawys in the town centre, look on the outskirts. Indian takeaway by the Iron bridge.
- River Kwai is a very appealing Thai restaurant in market square, near the old
town hall and near to Bar Vin a popular wine bar on the corner of East Street.
- If you want a bite after the pub check out Les'& Arthur's Burger Van at Horsham Station. A good selection of Hot Dogs and Burgers. Look out for the Les special!
The Kentucky at Bishopric stays open till 12, but renowned for rowdies and 'Punch ups'. Other good places are Vines kebab shop. Ask to speak to Resate Gondogado. There are the normal selection of Curry Houses. Lastly for the best food in Horsham check out Roffey Griddle. Open 7 days a week, has the best seltion of fry ups you can imagine. I recomend the No. 4 breakfast.
- Horsham has:-
5 Indian Resteraunts,
The Mongolian Experiance (where you get to break your plates after the meal & then dance on the resulting debris),
2 Italian/Pizza Resteraunts,
- Good selection from around the world
- Queens Head (excelent sunday Lunch Cisswood House Hotel and Restaurant
- Ask Palo at the till in Wimpys for "no ice" and you get so much more drink.
